The RECOVER: European Youth for a Green Recover is designed to address youth unemployment by promoting green entrepreneurship in line with the EU economy’s green transition efforts.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic consequences, youth unemployment, and green transition in Europe, the RECOVER project seems an innovative approach to young people, as research in European platforms indicates the lack of a project with the combination of objectives and results described below. Thus, the project topic becomes innovative and helps the target groups to be ready to cope with the challenging situation that the aforementioned issues have created for them.

Objectives

  1. To train young people to become environmentally literate and also to develop green and digital technologies skills and competences.
  2. To develop young people’s perception of the concept of green entrepreneur and to familiarize them with it in order to pursue a prospective career.
  3. To help youth workers/trainers adjust their training in accordance with the competency thematics of environmental literacy, green entrepreneurship, and green digital technologies and assess the level of skills acquired by young people.
  4. To raise young people’s awareness on how to operate as green entrepreneurs through the adoption of environmental ethics in their business endeavours.
  5. To provide young people with employability opportunities by promoting entrepreneurship amid the green transition efforts to disseminate the project results and activities at local, regional, national, and EU levels.

Mission The mission of CWEP is to increase the quality of education training at all levels and in all its forms, as well as to promote entrepreneurship in order to foster the integration of any social group, regardless of gender, age, or ethnic origin.
Scope of Work The Centre for Education and Entrepreneurship Support (CWEP) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded on 30.06.2004 by a group of entrepreneurs, teachers, social activists, and IT specialists from Rzeszow, Poland. The CWEP association works in the field of youth and cooperates with businesses, universities, schools, enterprises, and educational institutions operating as associated partners. CWEP has experience in organizing complex support for individuals at different stages of their lives, from childhood to elder age. It promotes entrepreneurship among young people at school, as

well as to those who already run their businesses. In 2015, CWEP was appointed as the Intermediary Organization for the centralized program Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, coordinating and supporting in this respect both starters and experimented entrepreneurs from Poland. It also serves as an accredited ESC local contact point.

Objectives The Association’s specific objectives are:

To improve the accessibility, quality, and efficiency of education for all people of all ages;

To support youth in various initiatives;

To support the social integration and realization of each individual, especially those who are endangered by social exclusion;

To promote and contribute to education, life-long learning, e-learning, and the usage of new technologies in education, entrepreneurship, and energy saving;

To provide support in breaking the barriers for people from difficult personal backgrounds by widening access to education and self-entrepreneurship.

Main activities CWEP has partnered in many projects addressed to disadvantaged groups – those of special educational needs, for example, the youth, women, or migrants. Through professional relations trainer–trainee, the carried out so far activities in the mentioned respect have been very successful. Through previously and currently implemented projects, the Association has a well-established network of both schools at various levels and institutions that provide educational support. In this project, the network will be utilized in all activities.

CWEP supports young people, schools, adults, and enterprises from the SME sector, organizing training courses and workshops on entrepreneurship, integration, social awareness, and literacy and applying for EU-funded programs, providing advisory services in the mentioned areas.

Main activities Future In Perspective Ltd. is a private company based in the border region of Ireland specialising in the areas of education and e-learning, media production, strategic planning and business development and evaluation.  Through our work on national and EU funded projects, we have engaged and supported local youth groups, migrant communities, older persons, and individuals who have been absent from education to re-engage with service providers and mainstream education and training offerings.  We also have expertise in supporting businesses in niche markets such as the creative, cultural and green sectors to develop sustainable business models.  In addition, we have collaborated with young people and adults to deliver a range of diverse programmes in the areas of media production and career management – supporting the next generation of creative individuals to build and sustain successful careers in the sector.

Objectives We offer a range of services addressed to schools; enterprises, public authorities and other training agencies. Fo. Ri.Um. main Areas of activities are:

Education:

–          providing integrated services in order to strengthen the links between school education and work setting;

–          improving qualification of adult people through formal and informal education, skills transfer, recognition and validation;

–          increasing adult learner ability to learn by using innovative materials, methodologies and study methods.

Social Area

–          integrating groups with particular difficulties on the labour market such as drop-outs, low skilled workers, disadvantaged people, migrants and those with a migrant background and ethnic minorities, by developing their work-related skills and competences;

–           delivering career guidance to Public Authorities;

–           offering continued training (distance and face to face) customized to learners;

–          providing initial and ongoing training for enterprises, often based on innovative learning methodologies

Main activitie Forium is part of a territorial context that has always been attentive to environment issues starting from the Industrial Tanning District of Santa Croce, which aims at the total environmental compatibility of the processing of hides and leather. Therefore, our organisation has always been sensitive to the issues of green economy starting.

Instead, from the point of view of the target group of the project in the last 3-years period Forium has been leading:

– 8 VET courses addressed to drop-out young people aged 16-18.

– 4 compulsory schooling courses for 14-year olds finishing lower secondary education

– 10 VET courses addressed to the older than 18

– A wide collaboration with the schools of the territory for which Fo.Ri.Um provides support in internship arrangement, orientation and guidance to match employment demand and offer.
